Primary and Secondary Winches at Helm for Easy Single Handing
The Morrelli & Melvin designed Leopard 40 was a big step forward from its predecessor, the Leopard 38. In addition to adding two feet in length, they were able to reduce her displacement by 4,000 pounds without compromising structural integrity or stiffness. She performs quite well under sail and points higher than most cruising catamarans.
Thanks to a well-designed helm, Jedicco is easy to single hand. The main sheet and genoa sheets are led to the helm and both the primary and secondary winches are within close reach of the helmsman—even when seated. One of the winches is electric making shorthanded sailing even easier.
Jedicco features a hard top bimini and a one-level cockpit with comfortable seating. She has 4 cabins and 2 heads with separate showers. Her forward cabins have access to additional berths in the forepeaks. She has a new arch, Lithium batteries and solar.
The galley is superb and well-appointed, and the salon is a great area for entertaining or relaxation.
Jedicco has been very successful in multiple Harvest Moon Regattas.
