OVERVIEW
KAJAK, designed by Juan Carlos Espinosa, was built to Det Norske DNV class to be MCA compliant. Delivered in 2008 she’s been consistently updated and improved, completed a comprehensive refit in 2018, and most recently a refit in 2022 which included 15 year DNV class survey, new bottom paint, replacing 19 through hull valves, new AC chillers, new headliners throughout, new underwater lights, and new port generator (See upgrades). This vessel features a beautiful high gloss cherry interior with marble, onyx, and granite accents throughout. WALKTHROUGH
From the aft deck, entering the main saloon through double pneumatic doors you are struck by the sheer volume of Kajak. There is a massive U-shaped couch to port, with two super comfortable chairs to starboard. The bar is mid saloon in front of the chairs. The bar seats three with standing room for 5 more guests. The impressive burle and cherry wood interior makes the dining salon feel warm and cozy with great views from the massive windows on port and starboard. There is ample storage around the table for China, flatware and placemats.Forward of the table to port is the fully equipped galley with 6 full fridge/freezers and countless wine/fridge icemakers. There are three sinks and two plating areas for the chef and three for the stews. Starboard of the dining area, you enter the formal entrance with beautiful stairs going up to the master stateroom and down the guest areas.
There is a day head on the starboard side just prior to entering the Full beam master stateroom in burle and light sycamore wood. The King sized bed faces aft and you have his and her marbled bathrooms forward of the bed with a shared walkthrough shower.
Going downstairs by comfortable stairs to a landing with three guest staterooms; a twin stateroom with ensuite is forward to port, and aft of the stairs are two massive guest staterooms, one with King sized bed that can be converted to two double beds. Forward of the guest areas is a watertight door to the laundry and through that another door to the 4 crew cabins and ample crew mess.
Upstairs leads to the pilothouse and ships office. The bridge is fully equipped and a couch and table that is used by owners underway. Aft of the Pilothouse is an oversized door that opens to the owner’s office with computer/printer and TV. Through another privacy door you enter the stunning second master stateroom. A centerline aft facing King sized bed faces the aft deck seating area for the owner. There is a massive bathroom with a tub and separate shower. There is a double walk-in closet and plenty of drawer space.
